Responsibilities & RequirementsJob Responsibilities
- To perform high level clinical respiratory care under indirect technical supervision as assigned by the supervisor or team leader.
- Additional the position demonstrates a strong approach to all network initiatives and will be a role model for KHN mission, vision, and values.
- Performs various respiratory procedures on a day-to-day basis under indirect supervision for all age group as specified per campus departmental policy.
- Exercises good independent clinical judgment and discretion in applying and interpreting policies and procedures.
- Maintains productivity at or above required levels.
- Assures correct documentation of all records.
- Occasionally performs the role of Lead Therapist, shift Team Leader, or clinical Instructor as assigned.
- Minimum Education:
Graduates of a 2–4-year AMA approved Respiratory Program.
Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist, Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner for the State of Ohio, Credentials issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
Active AARC member must demonstrate acute/critical care knowledge as it relates to cardiopulmonary diseases states, involved in precepting acute/critical care areas, supervisor capabilities, current BLS with ACLS, P, and NRP for respective work area.
