** We are seeking a compassionate and energetic
** Activities Assistant
** to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team. The Activities Assistant will help plan, organize, and implement engaging activities for residents throughout the shift to enhance their physical, mental, and social well-being.###
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
*** Assist with daily activity programs for residents throughout the shift
* Lead and support group activities such as games, crafts, exercise, music, and social events
* Provide one-on-one activities for residents as needed
* Encourage resident participation and engagement
* Transport residents to and from activity areas when necessary
* Assist with decorating and preparing materials for special events and holidays
* Document participation and attendance as required
* Maintain a positive and professional attitude with residents, families, and staff###
** Qualifications
* ** High school diploma or equivalent required
* Experience in long-term care, activities, recreation, or healthcare preferred
* Compassionate, patient, and dependable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to lift, bend, and assist residents as needed###
** Work Schedule
