Spring Valley Academy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our vibrant fine arts program. Serving approximately 600 students
, Spring Valley Academy is committed to Christ-centered education, academic excellence, and nurturing the whole child. This position will add a third full-time music teacher to our growing music department.

The Music Teacher will primarily provide elementary general music instruction
, with opportunities to work with strings and/or handbells at the 7th and 8th grade levels, depending on experience and program needs. The successful candidate will play an important role in fostering musical growth while supporting the spiritual mission of the school.

• Teach elementary general music classes
• Lead or assist with strings and/or handbells instruction in grades 7–8 (as assigned)
• Collaborate with the music department and faculty to support school programs and performances
• Integrate Christian values into classroom instruction and interactions
• Participate in school events, concerts, and worship experiences as part of the music program

• Supportive administration and collaborative faculty
• Well-established and growing music program

• Strong commitment to Christian values and the philosophy of Seventh-day Adventist education
• NAD (North American Division) teacher certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• Degree in Music Education or a related field
• Experience teaching elementary music; experience with strings and/or handbells is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
