Overview
Customer Service Advisor 1 - Centerville Wilmington Pike
Centerville, Ohio, United States
Location:
This position is 100% in office. The employee will work their scheduled work hours in a designated Wes Banco location. Consideration for location will be Centerville Wilmington Pike.
- Provide excellent customer service while identifying sales opportunities and performing account transactions.
- Be responsive to the immediate needs of the Banking Center and proactively provide CSR and sales platform support as needed.
- Engage in consumer and business relationship building and focus on daily sales initiatives.
- Comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and security measures; operate as a CSR and support sales and operational objectives as assigned.
- Operate in alignment with the Bank's Mission, Vision, and Pledge; assess financial needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Accept and accurately process financial service transactions; manage CSR cash drawer with proper balancing and cash handling procedures.
- Adhere to security and audit procedures; maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive information.
- Meet and strive to exceed defined sales goals for loans, deposits, partner referrals, and profitability.
- Promote a sales culture and build relationships with branch staff to achieve team goals.
- Initiate outbound calling and referrals as defined by location goals; educate clients on financial wellness opportunities.
- Support day-to-day operations including, but not limited to, customer service, opening/closing procedures, vault duties, cash controls, inventory, and compliance requirements.
- Participate in regular sales and staff meetings; respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues professionally.
- Build positive relationships with internal partners and demonstrate sound judgment within established guidelines.
- Assist with operational duties as cross-trained; contribute to a team environment to meet customer needs.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Banking, cash handling, sales, and customer service experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook 365; ability to learn banking software programs.
- Strong consumer lending knowledge preferred; ability to generate new financial relationships through outbound activities.
- Ability to interact effectively with customers and clearly convey concepts verbally and in writing.
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and flexibility.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs; availability to work all hours of operations.
- Proficiency with banking policies and procedures, adherence to applicable laws and regulations, and timely completion of compliance training.
- Ability to build positive customer relationships and demonstrate product knowledge for selling bank products.
- Ability to interpret various instructions and demonstrated mathematical/analytical skills.
