Journeyman Electrician- Prefabrication

Position Overview

Electrical Journeyman – Prefabrication is responsible for installing high‑quality electrical field work and taking measures to increase the company’s effectiveness and efficiency.

• Work in our Prefabrication Shop
• Build your own skills by training apprentices to be the best in the business
• Work on a wide range of projects such as data centers, water processing plants, casinos, residential/commercial high rises, pharmaceutical plants, and many others
• Maintain a constant focus on safety while you lay out and organize tasks for apprentices, use formulas to determine pipe fill, device and panel size, plan and handle materials required for the job, and many other tasks

• Minimum of 4 years documented field work or completion of a 4‑year electrical apprentice program
• Excellent understanding of the electrical industry with experience in the following:
  • Controls
  • PLC
  • Motors
  • Threading GRC
• Enjoy being part of a team, providing leadership, and producing high quality electrical workmanship
• Highly curious and motivated to continue your education and professional development
• Willing to travel to a variety of job sites within a 50‑mile radius
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures; limited working surfaces; noise above 85 decibels; intense odors; limited visibility; climbing stairs, ladders, and trenches; use of respirator if required; lifting 50–100 pounds; valid driver’s license if driving required (DMV background check); walking on uneven terrain; sitting, stooping, crawling, and kneeling; personal time off (PTO)
