Communication Technology Services (CTS) is one of the largest integrators and managed service providers for enterprise cellular networks in the U.S., specializing in the design, installation and support of Distributed Antenna System (DAS), Small Cell, and 4G/5G Private Wireless Networks for Enterprise.
Entry level candidates with some Low Voltage experience will receive on-the-job training, and Technician II with some DAS experience may also apply. This position is based in the Denver Area and will require regional travel.

The Low Voltage/DAS Technician will support the installation, construction, and testing of telecom systems deployed in the field, learning and applying the standards and processes necessary to meet customer and CTS’ quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Follow the direction of Field Manager/Lead Tech.
  • Part of install team stringing coax and fiber cable.
  • Install antennas and equipment as directed.
  • Transport materials.
  • Attend apprentice classes when applicable.
  • Be competent at pulling coax and fiber.
  • Be proficient at coax cable termination.
  • Possess familiarity with fusion splicing and fiber optic testing practices (preferred).
  • Have basic computer skills.
  • Understand cable sweep test equipment and processes.
  • Know frequency bands, protocols, and terminology.
  • Be competent at collecting information for closeout packages.
  • Manage daily installation quality and schedule.
  • Accept direction but also make good decisions when working unsupervised.
  • Preferably proficient with PIM & sweep testing of coax and fiber.
  • Preferably competent at operating and understanding all functions of Anritsu Site Master test equipment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Must pass a background check.
  • Physical ability to carry tools, materials, and ladders; climb ladders; lift up to 50 lb as needed; and perform daily required tasks.
Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate: $20 to $28 per hour, commensurate with experience.
