Position: Production Operator I

Under direction of Production Supervisor or his/her designee, performs various aspects of assembling baby changing tables, highchairs, and seating products, including sub-assembly, final assembly, parts, bagging, making cartons and packaging.

Functions and Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations
  • Follow and maintain all aspects of quality
  • Manual and automation assisted assembly of raw materials into finished goods.
  • Meet predetermined production deadlines.
  • Assist inventory control.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Must be able to function in a team oriented and continuously improving environment.
Qualifications
  • As a minimum, the Production Operator is required to have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Production experience preferred.
  • Ability to read and/or interpret documents such as work orders, procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety rules.
  • Ability to comprehend and respond appropriately in English is required: fluency in the English language preferred.
  • Lift, push or pull loads up to 50 pounds.
  • Use of light tools such as, screwdrivers, drills, hammer, rivet guns, air tools, various machines, etc., is required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Organized and detail oriented

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
