As a Logistics Specialist IV, you will review our logistics documentation to establish a pipeline for the range and depth of spares, tools, test equipment, materials, and related manuals needed. You’ll be responsible for routing, documenting, and coordinating shipping logistics, managing our records of equipment, components, repair parts and related manuals, and tracking logistics materials and parts for proper allocation of our storage facilities.
You’ll ensure compliance to state, federal, and global regulations and coordinate import/export requirements.
The candidate will oversee the activities of the Warehouse Hangar Liaisons on the hangar floor, ensuring that all operations are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes monitoring daily tasks, providing guidance and support, and addressing any issues that may arise to prevent disruptions. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
It also involves tracking the status of active projects, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, and providing timely updates to relevant stakeholders. Effective communication and leadership skills are essential, as the candidate will be the primary point of contact between the hangar floor operations and upper management, facilitating the flow of information and ensuring alignment with the company's goals and standards.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Advanced Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Thorough understanding and experience with the practical application of Inventory and Supply Chain/Logistics principles and techniques
- Progressive experience with inventory databases
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
- Familiarity with AvPro or similar aviation maintenance tracking systems
- Haz Mat Training/Certification
- Ability to operate a Forklift
- Experience with shipping databases, such as Fed Ex, DHL, UPS
- Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and clean driving record
- Understanding of Shelf Life
- Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense or US Military

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $33.38 - $45.90. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
