Skilled Maintenance Coordinator II – Senior Living Community

National Pay Range

$27.05/hr - $32.20/hr base pay range. Actual pay based on qualifications and experience.

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Building Operations lead, maintains areas related to maintenance and repairs within the community. Participates in the On-Call rotation for the Community.

Essential Duties
  • Diagnose problems and perform repairs on equipment, machinery, plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Complete community work orders in a timely manner for employees and residents.
  • Conduct and log monthly fire drills; ensure fire extinguishers are maintained and dated.
  • Ensure overall compliance and documentation with Facilities Services Director.
  • Assist with snow removal, room renovation, and grounds maintenance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications & Experience
  • 2 years’ experience in building maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, patching).
  • Knowledge of HVAC preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of Life Safety, OSHA, MSDS, and healthcare regulations preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS (e.g., PMworkx) preferred.
  • Valid Colorado State driver’s license in good standing.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Working Conditions /

Physical Requirements
  • Strenuous physical activity: lifting > 100 lbs occasionally, up to 60 lbs frequently, 30 lbs constantly.
  • Constant standing, walking, grasping, climbing, reaching, occasional sitting, stooping, crawling, kneeling, squatting, fine motor tasks.
  • Possible exposure to hazardous chemicals and high temperatures.
  • Frequent interruptions affecting workflow.
  • Regular interaction with residents, family, and visitors.
