Commercial Insurance Underwriter Level 2

Position Overview :
We are hiring an Underwriter II to evaluate and manage medium-sized commercial accounts. This role includes underwriting, client consultations, renewal processing, and risk analysis, supporting our broader goal of effective insurance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Underwrite property and liability policies for mid-sized accounts

• Perform risk analysis and pricing for new/renewal business

• Conduct site visits and renewal reviews

• Consult with clients on coverage protection and uninsured exposures

• Prepare certificates of insurance and risk mitigation strategies

• Troubleshoot system data and perform loss trend analyses

• Represent the organization at conferences and meetings

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• 4–6 years of relevant commercial insurance experience

• Property & Casualty Producer License (or ability to obtain)

• Valid Driver’s License

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• CIC, CRM, or ARM certifications
