On-site Field Network Technician

Position

On-site Field Network Technician – Denver, CO

• Knowledge of network connectivity, network security and Wi‑Fi networks.
• Good understanding of Windows server environments and common operating systems.
• Ability to work with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical, some non‑technical).
• Ability to lead clients through discovery phase (asking the right questions).
• Aggressive problem solver.
• Ability to travel locally to different clients.
• Ability to communicate through phone, email, and written documentation.

• Previous network field experience.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and concepts (SMTP, FTP, SMB, ports, TCP/IP).
• Hands‑on experience providing support to users using Windows Desktop OS and other mainstream Microsoft applications.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cohesively with clients.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Good understanding of Mac OS environment.
• CompTIA Network+ certified.
• Previous experience working in managed IT services.
• Basic understanding of VOIP technology.
