Health & Safety Specialist (In person - Centennial, CO)

At Jetson, our people are the heartbeat of everything we do, and keeping them safe is non-negotiable. As our Health & Safety Specialist, you'll play a vital role in shaping a culture where every technician, installer, and office team member goes home the same way they arrived.

This is your opportunity to build something meaningful. You'll design, develop, and implement a safety program from the ground up, then own its execution as we bring clean energy solutions into homes across North America. From big-picture strategy to day-to-day operations, you'll be the driving force behind safety across our office, warehouse, and residential jobsite environments.

What You'll Do
  • Design, develop, and implement safety policies, SOPs, and training programs across field and office operations
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910 (General Industry) and 1926 (Construction/Field), translating regulations into clear, actionable company policies
  • Conduct internal audits to assess risk and ensure readiness for government inspections
  • Create and coordinate emergency response plans, including evacuation maps and drills
  • Proactively identify hazards through safety walks, job hazard analyses, and leading indicator monitoring
  • Lead thorough incident investigations using Root Cause Analysis and the 5 Whys methodology
  • Implement corrective actions based on investigation findings, including updated procedures, guards, and controls
  • Prepare detailed incident reports for management and regulatory bodies
  • Build and deliver training programs that drive real behavior change across all levels, from new hire onboarding to toolbox talks
  • Champion safety accountability with field teams, office staff, and leadership alike
  • Monitor leading and lagging indicators such as near-miss reports and TRIR to measure program effectiveness
  • Leverage AI and modern technology tools to improve reporting, streamline audits, and keep the program proactive
  • Support Return to Work programs in coordination with HR and medical professionals
  • Take on additional responsibilities and projects as the role and business needs evolve
What You Bring:
  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening
  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field
  • Active ASP certification required; CSP strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience developing and implementing safety programs and SOPs
  • Deep working knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and 1926 in real-world field environments
  • Proficiency in Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • Comfort using modern tools — including AI — to work smarter and more efficiently
  • Experience supporting safety across multi-environment operations (office, warehouse, residential job sites) is a strong plus
