Childcare Lead Teacher

Willows Child Learning Center in Quebec, CO is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Teachers.

• High school diploma or GED, CDA or higher – or equivalent.
• Early Childhood Professional Credential LV 2+ or formal education/ECE experience required.
• Ability to pass all background checks.

Monday – Friday

$21 – $23 an hour, based on education and experience.

• Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
• Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; use our parent communication app efficiently.
• Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
• Responsible for the safety and well‑being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; maintain an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
• Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, and conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during November and May.
• Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
• Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
