A high-growth manufacturing company in the energy sector is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in monthly close, financial statement preparation, and the annual audit.

Partnering closely with the Accounting Manager, you’ll support day-to-day accounting and reporting while helping strengthen processes in a self-directed environment. This is a high-visibility role with strong growth potential as the organization continues to expand.

• Own day-to-day accounting operations, including month-end close, general ledger activity, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Perform detailed variance analysis to support accurate, insightful management reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with GAAP, ensuring a timely and clean close
• Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reporting packages
• Maintain strong internal controls by properly documenting, reviewing, and supporting all transactions
• Manage sales and use tax compliance and related filings

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of full-cycle GL accounting experience
• Desire and willingness to wear multiple accounting hats
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Large ERP experience needed
• Experience with large data sets is a plus
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

• Target Compensation to $95K - $105K DOE + bonus
