We’re seeking a motivated Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who thrives on managing core accounting functions — especially general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close activities. The Staff Accountant help ensure accurate financial records and support operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment servicing complex transaction data and administrative needs.

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring timely and accurate recording of financial transactions.
Prepare and post journal entries, including regular accruals, prepaids, and adjustments.
Ensure debits and credits are recorded correctly and GL balances tie to subsidiary records.
Assist with month-end and quarter-end close processes and account reconciliations.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, reviewing invoices and payments as needed.
Prepare financial reports and analyses to support leadership and operational decision-making.
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, payroll, and billing teams to resolve discrepancies.
Assist with internal controls, process documentation, and audit support when required.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency within accounting workflows.
What We’re Looking For in Staff Accountant Applicants
2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant with a focus on general ledger, month-end close, and journal entries.
Comfortable with debits and credits and basic accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in Excel; experience with accounting software or ERP systems preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
