Senior Accountant Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting and finance team. This role will play a key part in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and continuous improvement of accounting processes. The ideal candidate has strong GAAP knowledge, experience in a multi-entity environment, and enjoys partnering with cross-functional teams to support the business.

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:

Month-End Close & Financial Reporting

• Lead and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
• Ensure accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Assist with consolidated financials and intercompany eliminations, if applicable

General Ledger & Technical Accounting

• Maintain ownership of general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies
• Support technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, leases, accruals, and reserves
• Assist with implementation and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Partner with FP&A, operations, and other departments to support business initiatives
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Staff Accountants or junior team members
• Support special projects, M&A integration, and ad-hoc analysis as needed

Senior Accountant Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–7+ years of progressive accounting experience (public accounting and/or industry)
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
• Proficiency with Excel and accounting systems (Net Suite, Sage, Oracle, SAP, Quick Books, etc.)

Salary: $85-110K
