We're growing our Finance team and are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused Staff Accountant to join our Finance team.
This hybrid position requires three in-office 3 days per week and offers the chance to grow your accounting skills in a genuinely supportive and collaborative environment where your contributions are valued and your development is encouraged. As a Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting operations, from invoicing and payments to reconciliations and revenue reporting, while helping ensure our financials are accurate, timely, and compliant. You will work closely with a small, approachable team that values communication, learning, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate with customers regarding invoicing, payments, and past-due balances
- Prepare and send customized invoices when needed
- Apply payments to open invoices and maintain accurate AR records
- Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Book expenses and revenue
, including deferred revenue and accruals - Track and manage revenue reporting and assist with month-end recognition
- Prepare weekly AP reports and assist with vendor payments
- Support month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance follow-ups
- Contribute to process improvements
, documentation, and team initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience (AR/AP or general ledger preferred)
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and GAAP concepts
- Familiarity with revenue recognition and deferred revenue
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, Index/Match, etc.)
- Experience with Odoo or other ERP/accounting systems (Quick Books, Net Suite, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

- Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office; 2 days remote every week. Local candidates only.
