Position Overview: Celina City Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS) teacher to serve grades 7–8 in and 7‑12 in . The successful candidate will provide students with hands‑on learning experiences that build practical life skills, encourage personal development, and prepare students for post‑secondary independence.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement engaging FCS curriculum aligned to Ohio Learning Standards.
- Teach courses such as culinary arts, nutrition, child development, personal finance, and career readiness.
- Integrate project‑based and experiential learning opportunities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community partners to support student learning.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, grades, and attendance.
- Participate in departmental, school, and district initiatives.
- Promote a positive classroom environment that encourages student growth and respect.
- Valid Ohio teaching license in Family & Consumer Sciences or Health Education.
- Bachelor's degree in Family & Consumer Sciences, Education, or related field.
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
