Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift position in Florida requiring an active FL or compact RN license and L&D experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Labor and Delivery unit of a hospital
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- 13-week assignment duration
- Float first to the women’s unit, then to the house as a sitter or task nurse if needed
- Six weekend shifts required per six-week schedule
- No on-call responsibilities
- Role may require floating to support the women’s unit or to function as a sitter or task nurse as needed
- Position includes night and weekend coverage
- Dress code and holiday requirements will be specified at the time of assignment
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- Minimum 1.5 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience required
- Must provide one reference from entire work history
- ANCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification or must pass prestart GNOSIS Exam
- Must reside at least 75 miles from facility to be eligible as a traveler
- Former employees must be gone from facility for at least one year before reapplying
