Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring BLS certification and a minimum of 1.5 years of relevant L&D experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Labor & Delivery unit with responsibility for maternal and newborn care
- 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
- Required to work 6 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule
- Float to women’s unit first, then to house as a sitter or task nurse if needed
- No call requirements
- Returning travelers or employees must not have worked at this facility within the past year
- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
- Role may require assisting in other units or serving as a sitter or task nurse
- Dress code and holiday coverage expectations will be provided by the facility
- Active FL or compact RN license
- Minimum of 1 year and 6 months of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS from AHA required
- Certifications in ACLS, AWHONN, and NRP required
- ANCC EFM certification required or must pass prestart GNOSIS Exam
- At least one reference covering the entire work history is required for consideration
