Cloud Engineer W2

Job Overview

Cloud Engineer (W2) contract position for 6 months. Pay range: $50.89 – $61.29 per hour. The role is on‑site in Celebration, FL. Key skills include Kubernetes (Rancher), AWS, GCP, Linux, VMware, and Azure.

• Maintain Helm Charts and deployment requirements for Kubernetes (Rancher).
• Ensure SSL certificates across multiple domains are renewed timely without outages.
• Complete Akamai CDN implementations and updates.
• Diagnose and repair system outages.
• Triage and remediate security requirements across cloud and on‑premises systems.
• Develop and maintain engineering and architectural standards for on‑premise/hybrid compute, storage, and data protection services.
• Provide system reports on a regular and ad‑hoc basis.
• Assist in creation and documentation of day‑to‑day operational procedures.

• 5+ years of experience in Kubernetes (Rancher) – required.
• 5+ years of experience in AWS and GCP – required.
• 5+ years of experience in Linux, Windows, VMware – required.
• 5+ years of experience with Akamai (CDN) – required.
• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes containerization (preferred).
• Experience with AVI load balancer (preferred).
• Global on‑call experience in enterprise support (preferred).
• Strong scripting skills for automation and productivity enhancements.
• Ability to differentiate features, benefits, and trade‑offs of competing virtualization and cloud platforms.

Pay: $50.89 – $61.29 per hour. Billable as a W2 contractor.

On‑site in Celebration, FL. Candidates must be local to Florida.
