Senior Financial Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $50.00 to $60.00 per hour.

• Manage close activities for corporate financial instruments including foreign currency hedges commodity hedges and intercompany loans and ensure accurate records.
• Prepare quarterly reporting materials such as disclosures and notes and analyze items related to accumulated other comprehensive income and fair value measurements.
• Reconcile data between financial instrument systems and SAP and assist with journal entries and forecasts related to foreign currency activity.
• Perform control testing to support compliance requirements and maintain key controls for the corporate segment.
• Provide support to domestic and international treasury operations and respond to internal inquiries related to hedging and related matters.

• A Bachelor degree in accounting or finance with a master degree or CPA viewed as an advantage.
• 4+ years in public accounting or five years in corporate accounting with experience in complex consolidations or public company environments.
• Demonstrate advanced skill in Excel and comfort working with large data sets.
• Work effectively with large enterprise systems such as SAP Oracle or JD Edwards with experience in Business Objects considered helpful.
• Communicate clearly in writing and in person and collaborate well with partners across the business.

• Research complex accounting topics and present concise conclusions that support leadership decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and implement solutions that enhance accuracy and speed.
• Manage high volumes of work under tight timelines while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Support forecasting and reporting through well structured financial models and schedules.
• Exercise sound judgment professionalism and strong organization skills in a fast paced environment.
