Position: Customer Service Staff

The Customer Service Attendant works under the direct supervision of the Recreation Superintendent, Pool Manager and Assistant Managers and is responsible for daily front desk and concession stand duties. These duties include, but are not limited to, handling all daily admissions to the pool, selling season passes, computer operations, general cleaning duties and quality customer service, as well as working in the concession stand.

A Customer Service Attendant is expected to have a courteous and professional attitude at all times. Pool season runs from end of May through August.

  • Responsible for knowing and enforcing policies and procedures in a courteous and professional manner
  • Responsible for collecting daily admission fees and admitting season pass holders utilizing the pool computer system
  • Assure that every person entering the facility has paid an admission fee
  • Responsible for answering the pool telephone and customer questions in a courteous and professional manner
  • Responsible for working in the concession stand, at times, and for serving the patrons their orders.
  • Follow all health code guidelines
  • Responsible and accountable for all money taken in while on duty
  • Perform daily cleaning duties and additional cleaning as assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Correspond courteously and as a team with supervisors and other staff
  • Know and follow established emergency procedures
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the Manager or Assistant Manager
  • Maintain a positive attitude while on duty to fellow co-workers and patrons!
  • JOB QUALIFICATIONS
    • Preferred:
      Customer Service Experience
    • Computer System Operation Experience
    • Money & Food Handling Experience
    • Friendly Attitude
    • Ability to work as a team
    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
    • Thorough knowledge and application of superior customer service practices
    • Ability to accept, understand and follow written and verbal instruction
    • Ability to handle cash transactions and complete daily forms and records
    • Ability to perform facility and grounds maintenance tasks
