Overview

Position Title: Warehouse

Wage: $17/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

We're looking for a strong Warehouse Associate! In this role, you'll help with shipping, receiving, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized. You'll load and unload materials, prepare orders, and work with equipment. If you enjoy staying active and working in a fast-paced environment, this job is for you! This is an associate to hire opportunity for a company in Cedar Rapids, IA.

• Load and unload materials manually or with equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks
• Receive, store, and move incoming materials, products, or equipment
• Pick, pack, and prepare materials for outbound shipments
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse and storage areas in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards
• Verify inventory accuracy by comparing physical stock to system records and investigate discrepancies
• Assist with packaging, quality control, and shipping processes
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Proficient in verbal and written communication
• Ability to read and interpret written and verbal work instructions
• Willingness to train on forklift operation and inventory control systems
• Experience in packaging, picking, quality assurance/control, and shipping
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a regular basis
