Class B CDL Driver (Air Brake Certified)

We’re seeking a reliable, safety‑conscious Class B CDL Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who values consistent regional routes, steady daytime hours, and hands‑on work with customer interaction.

As a Class B CDL Driver, you will operate a 20‑ft box truck to deliver materials to print and print‑finishing companies throughout Iowa. Routes typically include Cedar Rapids to Des Moines, Cedar Rapids to Davenport, and nearby regional locations. This position involves both driving and manual loading/unloading using an electric pallet jack, along with providing professional customer service at each stop.

• Safely operate a 20‑ft box truck with air brakes in accordance with DOT and company regulations
• Complete regional delivery routes 3–4 days per week (Des Moines, Davenport, and surrounding areas)
• Load, unload, and maneuver palletized materials using an electric pallet jack
• Review delivery documentation, collect customer signatures, and ensure accurate product handling
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
• Keep the truck clean, organized, and well‑maintained
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers

• Valid Class B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement
• Clean driving record; must pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Experience driving box trucks or performing local/regional deliveries preferred
• Ability to operate an electric pallet jack (training available)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage palletized freight as needed

• Full‑time, 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Hours may vary depending on route schedules)
• Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour, based on experience

• Customer‑service oriented
• Familiarity with DOT regulations
• Experience with loading, unloading, and freight handling
• Strong communication and reliability

• Expert level or strong proven experience preferred

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
