Warehouse Forklift Operator Immediately Hiring

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is urgently hiring a Permanent Full‑Time Forklift Operator in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role pays $20.00 per hour and offers a comprehensive benefits package after 30 days of employment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least one year of related warehouse or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Team player capable of working in a diverse environment
• Highly thorough, dependable, and punctual with a strong attendance record
• High degree of initiative and accuracy even under pressure
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods
• Capability to work safely and use health and safety methods
• Flexibility to work various shifts on a flexible schedule
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and truck loading/unloading
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hours
• Perform additional duties as assigned
