Location: Cedar Rapids, IA

Employment Type: Permanent Full‑Time

Pay: $20.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Ryder is hiring a forklift operator to support our supply chain operations. The role involves loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, cycle counting, and forklift operation in a fast‑moving warehouse environment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least one year of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator’s license, certified
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience creating and maintaining professional relationships across all levels
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual with good attendance
• High degree of initiative and accuracy under pressure
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Comfortable with health and safety methods
• Availability for flexible schedule and multiple shifts
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, auditing, tote induction, staging, and truck loading/unloading
• Maintain day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours
• Perform additional duties as assigned
