Experienced HVAC Technician

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated  HVAC Technician  to join our team in Blairstown. This position involves working on a wide range of residential and commercial HVAC projects — including service, repair, and installation work. The ideal candidate is reliable, takes pride in craftsmanship, and is committed to providing exceptional customer service.

HVAC Service Technician should have a basic understanding of the following Heating, Cooling, Ventilation skills:

Preventative Maintenance

Repairing Systems

Sequence of Operation

Control System/Electrical Troubleshooting

Commisioning New Systems

Type of Systems:

Furnace / Air Handler & AC / Heat Pump

Mini-Split

Boiler

Geothermal Systems

Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance of heating & cooling systems in residential and commercial settings.

Troubleshooting sequence of operation and repairing some or any of the following systems: furnaces, AC systems, heat pumps, mini-splits, boilers & geothermal systems.

Ensure all work meets applicable codes, safety standards, and company quality expectations.

Maintain accurate job records and communicate clearly with customers and team members.

Collaborate with other departments to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.

Qualifications:

Valid Iowa HVAC License/Certifications

5+ years of experience working in the HVAC field

Proven experience in residential and/or commercial HVAC service and installation

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and customer service abilities

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
