Cable Technician

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Apprentice to join our team and develop into a skilled electrician through hands‑on training and field experience. This role is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, eager to learn, and ready to build a long‑term career in the electrical trade.

Responsibilities

+ Assist journeyman and master electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems

+ Pull wire, run conduit, and install fixtures, outlets, switches, and panels

+ Support rough‑in and trim‑out phases on residential, commercial, or industrial projects

+ Read and interpret basic blueprints, schematics, and job specifications

+ Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure tools and materials are properly handled

+ Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements

+ Perform basic troubleshooting under supervision

+ Load, unload, and stage materials for daily tasks

+ Work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various indoor/outdoor environments

Qualifications

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn

+ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding tasks

+ Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and in tight spaces

+ Basic understanding of hand and power tools

+ Reliable transportation to job sites

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Able to pass drug and BGC

+ OSHA 10 or willingness to obtain (preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
