Cable Technician

Entry‑Level Communications Technician

Looking to get into the data center / low-voltage field
? We’re hiring motivated entry-level technicians to help install and support structured cabling systems in construction and data center environments.

• Install and route low-voltage cabling (Cat5e/Cat6, fiber support)
• Build and organize racks (rack & stack, patch panels)
• Punch down cables and label connections
• Support cabling in ceilings, walls, and raised floors
• Assist with fire‑stopping and grounding

• Interest or experience in construction, electrical, low voltage, or IT
• Willingness to learn and work hands‑on
• Comfortable working on ladders, at heights, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Reliable, professional, and safety‑focused

• Great entry point into the data center space
• Hands‑on technical experience
• Long‑term growth potential in telecom and DC careers

This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $23.00/hr.
