Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial or residential construction projects, including framing, drywall, doors, windows, and finish carpentry. You will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures in commercial buildings according to specifications and blueprints.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans.
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood and other materials for walls, floors, partitions, and roofs.
- Install doors, windows, drywall, cabinetry, and other finish carpentry elements.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Ensure work is completed to code and project specifications.
- Collaborate with other trades and contractors on‑site.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- 1+ years of experience in commercial or residential carpentry.
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. This is a fully onsite position in Cedar Rapids, IA.
