This position involves providing critical environmental cleaning services at a construction site for a data center in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role includes ensuring all exposed interior surfaces within the construction area are clean and free from dust and dirt. You will be working in a dynamic environment where construction is actively taking place.

• Clean all exposed interior surfaces within the construction area, from floor to ceiling.
• Perform tasks such as mopping, wiping, vacuuming, and brushing surfaces to remove dust and dirt.
• Operate scissor lifts and boom poles to reach difficult areas.
• Use b anything and towels for cleaning tasks.
• Pressure wash outside panels, generator coverings, and flooring once installed.
• Work in various physical positions such as standing, kneeling, and bending, and utilize ladders as needed.
• Remain alert and aware of the ongoing construction activities around you.

• Experience in construction, cleaning, general labor, and janitorial work.
• Familiarity with hand tools, mitigation, and restoration techniques.
• Experience with environmental remediation.
• Knowledge of working alongside other trades and handling heavy equipment.

• OSHA-10 or 30 שפ Certification is highly valued.
• Scissor lift certification is beneficial but not currently required.
• Ability to work 15-19 feet off the floor daily.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions, including hot and cold environments.

This role requires working Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with potential overtime. The first day will start earlier at 5:30 a.m. for orientation. Lunch is 30 minutes unpaid, and you should bring your own lunch as there are no fridges. You will work a 42-hour week on average, with occasional Saturdays. The work is primarily indoors (90%) but includes some outdoor tasks (10%).

Dress code requires steel-toed boots, jeans, and a work-appropriate shirt. Safety gear such as hard hats, safety glasses, and vests are provided unless you have your own. The work site is active with ongoing construction, and teamwork is essential as you will work in groups of 4-5.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Cedar Rapids, IA.
