Road Mechanic

• Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations
• Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management
• Work with an incredible team of people in a safety-focused environment
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose, and make advanced repairs at customer locations to avoid downtime
• Fleet varies by location and may include Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment; specialty locations may have large-scale power generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas equipment

• Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostic work
• Repair equipment safely and efficiently at customer sites
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate with customers
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing priorities

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired
• 1-2 years of mechanic experience with diesel, heavy construction, or specialty equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC, or Oil & Gas) preferred
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (21+ years of age; CDL may be required at some locations)
• May need to provide mechanic's tools of the trade
• Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual abilities may be required based on location
• Physical demands: bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50+ pounds; work indoors/outdoors as required

You will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days from your start date. Sunbelt offers paid time off including: 12-25 vacation days (based on years of service), 5 sick days, 6 holidays, 2 half-day holidays, 2 floating holidays, 1 inclusion day, and 1 volunteer day, subject to Sunbelt policy.

Base Pay Range: $20.96 - 28.82
