Field Service Technician

TOMRA North America is seeking a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain our machines in the Cedar Rapids, IA area.

The technician will travel to redemption locations and retail stores to analyze, test, troubleshoot, repair, or rebuild mechanical and electrical components of our reverse vending machines (RVM) and depot systems. Strong customer service skills and a solid technical background are essential.

• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm; on call every other Saturday until noon

• Mechanical skills: troubleshoot, repair, or replace machine components
• Electrical skills: troubleshoot and replace electrical components, diagnose faults
• Physical ability: assemble, disassemble, and repair mechanical parts; lift up to 50 lbs regularly; push/pull up to 150 lbs frequently
• Technical proficiency: strong technical background, proficient with laptops and Windows
• Customer service and communication skills
• Excellent safety record
• Valid driver’s license
