** Where You’ll Make a Difference
*** Lead the daily operations of the Animal Nutrition & Health Application Laboratory in Cedar Rapids, ensuring high‑quality execution of analytical work.
* Implement and support the global application strategy across North America, with a focus on in‑feed enzyme assays and raw material analysis.
* Maintain alignment with global quality standards, documentation practices, and laboratory best‑in‑class processes.
* Collaborate closely with global application laboratories to share insights, harmonize methods, and strengthen consistency in service delivery.
* Oversee method development, optimization, and troubleshooting of enzyme assays and related analytical techniques.
* Provide technical leadership to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely laboratory results for internal stakeholders and external customers.
* Partner with the Global Application Manager, Regional Technical Services Director, and Regional Industry Lead to resolve technical challenges and support commercial initiatives.
* Deliver customer service support by addressing client inquiries, providing technical explanations, and presenting new laboratory capabilities.
* Independently execute laboratory analyses in support of the North American (NAM) business, delivering reliable data to support customer requests, commercial activities, and technical decision‑making##
** What Makes You the Right Fit
*** Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Animal Science, Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
* 5+ years of experience in analytical laboratory environments, preferably within animal nutrition, feed, or enzyme applications.
* Strong understanding of enzyme assay methodologies, raw material analysis, and associated laboratory instrumentation.
* Demonstrated ability to interpret analytical data and translate findings into meaningful technical insights.
* Experience working within global quality frameworks and following standardized laboratory procedures.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues and recommend corrective actions.
* Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, commercial teams, and global technical colleagues.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.##
