Position: PRODUCT SUPPORT SALES REPRESENTATIVE (PSSR)

What would you do as a PRODUCT SUPPORT SALES REPRESENTATIVE

As a PSSR at Rexco Equipment, Inc., you’ll be on the front lines, driving our mission to enhance parts and service revenue while working with an amazing array of construction equipment and heavy equipment. You will proactively manage product support opportunities across our installed base, excluding cranes, by selling tailored solutions that reduce customer downtime and total cost of ownership. Your expertise will shine as you promote planned maintenance, inspections, and repair planning, all while fostering strong relationships with customers.

Collaborating closely with Parts, Service, and Account Managers, you’ll ensure smooth execution of wear-part programs and technology support. If you're excited about making a difference and playing a key role in customer satisfaction, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Are you a good fit for this PRODUCT SUPPORT SALES REPRESENTATIVE job?

To thrive as a PSSR at Rexco Equipment, Inc., you’ll need a robust set of skills and experience to elevate our customer service to new heights. A background in heavy equipment parts, service, or product support—preferably with at least 3 years of experience is essential, along with a strong mechanical aptitude that allows you to translate technical conditions into compelling business value for our clients.

Your ability to sell or influence solutions will shine through your professional communication and diligent follow-up.

Familiarity with CRM systems and standard business tools like Microsoft 365 will keep you organized and efficient. Additionally, a valid driver’s license and the willingness to travel within Iowaare necessary for this role, you should be home most evenings. While experience as a PSSR or in aftermarket/service sales for heavy equipment is preferred, being adept at discussing wear measurements and inspection reports with customers will help you stand out!

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

  • 5+ years of experience in related field
  • service technician, field service technician,or parts specialist or product support a plus; technician background is strongly preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to translate technical conditions into business value for customers.
  • Demonstrated ability (or strong potential) to sell or influence parts and service solutions through professional communication and follow-up discipline.
  • Comfortable with CRM discipline and standard business tools (Microsoft 365).
  • Valid driver’s license.
