The Opportunity

Central States Group, A Cogent Company, is seeking an experienced Industrial Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow accounts in a defined territory in Iowa. This role focuses on selling centrifugal pumps, mixers, mechanical seals, and rotating equipment to customers in industries such as Oil & Gas, Mining, Food & Beverage, Water/Wastewater, and other industrial process sectors
.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and manage a portfolio of industrial equipment sales accounts
    .
  • Identify new sales opportunities and expand business with existing B2B industrial customers
    .
  • Collaborate with inside sales, engineering, and vendor partners to deliver full solutions.
  • Provide consultative sales support and technical recommendations for pump sales and related equipment.
  • Achieve or exceed sales goals while representing Central States Group at industry events and customer sites.
What We’re Looking For
  • Required: Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and rotating equipment
    .
  • Preferred:

    Experience with
    centrifugal pumps, mixers, and mechanical seals
    .
  • Industry experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Food & Beverage
    , or Water/Wastewater a plus.
  • Proven B2B technical sales track record.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to travel ~40%.
