Summary: This position serves as a server and trainer at The Class Act fine dining restaurant, providing food and beverage service during evenings, weekends, mornings, and lunch shifts. The role also supervises student learning experiences.

• Provide prompt, courteous, and efficient food and beverage service for The Class Act & In‑Room Dining.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, and report any deficiencies to supervisors.
• Participate in departmental, interdepartmental, and pre‑shift meetings, and incentive programs.
• Understand and practice “Serving Alcohol with Care” principles.
• Adhere to all environmental policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

• Sound knowledge of wines, beer and spirits (asset).
• Knowledgeable of table service procedures and etiquette.
• Ability to remember, recite and promote menu items.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Bartending skills (asset).
• Promote an inclusive environment welcoming all backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences.

• Stand >2/3 of the time.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Preference for post‑high school degree.
• Preference for a minimum of two years full‑time experience in hospitality or equivalent education/work experience.
