Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring IA or Compact licensure, high acuity, and high-volume experience.

Job Details

• Hospital L&D unit with high-risk and high-volume deliveries (200-300/month),

• Night shifts are 12 hours, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, three shifts per week,

• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required,

• No on-call requirements; an extra shift is scheduled in lieu of on-call,

• Floating to postpartum unit required 1-2 shifts per week,

• EMR system:
Epic (Epic Stork experience preferred),

Job Requirements

• Active IA or Compact RN license,

• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D nursing experience in high acuity and high-volume settings,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC,

• AWHONN fetal monitoring certification required,

• NRP certification required,

• Circulating experience required; scrub experience preferred,

• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not considered,

• Driver's license required for consideration,

Additional Information

• Care for high-risk maternity patients and participate in deliveries in a fast-paced environment,

• Must be comfortable floating to postpartum and supporting team care needs,

• Participation in holiday coverage is required per facility guidelines,

• Limited RTO allowed between major holiday periods,

• Previous employees within the last 12 months may not be eligible,

• Multiple completed travel contracts and Epic Stork experience preferred,
