NICU Nurse Practitioner in Iowa - Weekend Day Shifts Only

Level 3 NICU coverage in Cedar Rapids with no night call, light volume, and all travel included.

Highlights

• Day shifts only - no nights or call
• Friday to Sunday, 7a to 7p
• Flexible PRN blocks - no long-term commitment
• Travel, lodging, rental car included

Practice Setting

• Level 3 NICU with 700 deliveries/year
• Most critical cases transferred to a nearby university hospital
• Baby remains in-room with mother for NICU care
• EPIC EMR

Schedule

• Weekend-only blocks
• March through June dates still open
• MD on call for night backup

Cases and Procedures

• Newborns only - 2 to 3 new admissions per shift
• Total of 12 to 16 babies on service
• No procedures required

Requirements

• Board Certified NP (PNP-AC preferred)
• Active Iowa license or IMLC LOQ
• BLS, PALS, and DEA required
• Prior NICU experience
