Pay: $18.00 per hour
Location:
Cedar Rapids, IA
Schedule: Monday-Friday

Position Overview:
The Fabrication Floater supports daily production within the fabrication department by assisting with metal finishing, machine operations, and general shop duties. This role helps ensure efficiency, quality, and safety throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform metal deburring and finishing to meet quality standards
• Assist with operation of press brake and laser equipment
• Support material handling and part staging
• Assist team members as needed to maintain production flow
• Follow all safety procedures and quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to read measurements
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented and dependable
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
