Forklift Operator – All Shifts Available! Cedar Rapids, IA $20 – $23 per hour (based on experience) Job Description

We are seeking reliable and skilled Forklift Operators to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate storing, shipping, and receiving of products while maintaining the highest levels of safety, security, and productivity. This position requires attention to detail to ensure all products are damage‑free, properly counted, and have production code dates recorded correctly. Operators may be required to support various warehouse locations as business needs change.

Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts to store, ship, load, and receive products safely and efficiently
  • Accurately check and count all products to ensure proper labeling and condition
  • Record production code dates and maintain accurate documentation
  • Support multiple warehouse locations as needed
  • Maintain prompt, dependable attendance
  • Work flexible hours, including overtime when necessary
Essential Skills
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Team player with strong interpersonal abilities
  • Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Previous forklift experience preferred
  • Flexible and willing to work overtime

Skills & Qualifications
  • Forklift certification preferred
  • Experience in general production or material handling>
  • Ability to stand for an 8‑hour shift
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds
  • Experience using RF scanners, pallet jacks, and reach trucks

  • Clean and well‑maintained warehouse
  • Fast‑paced environment
  • Temperature varies by season (warm summers, cold winters — approx. 45°F)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
