Machine Operator
Job Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for washing, loading, and unloading trucks while ensuring all safety, quality, and regulatory standards are met. This role reports to the Process Supervisor and includes on‑the‑job training.
Key Responsibilities- Wash, load, and unload trucks following established CIP procedures
- Operate truck loading systems and process control computers
- Manage truck loading schedules
- Prepare and verify shipment documentation (BOLs and COAs)
- Ensure loads, seals, and paperwork are accurate before shipment
- Accurately complete written and electronic documentation
- Report equipment issues to the Supervisor
- Follow all safety, GMP, food safety, and company policies
- 1+ year of manufacturing or production experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to stand for up to 12 hours
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Machinery operation and troubleshooting experience preferred
- Opportunity for higher pay upon direct hire

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
