* Utilize agile software development methods, automation, and continuous integration.
* Encourage team level and program level continuous integration and communities of practice around scaling Agile and Lean, and around Engineering and Quality Practices
* Work with product management, Product Owners and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
* Responsible for effective incremental Program Planning execution including ensuring planning readiness via fostering the preparation of Vision and work item backlogs
* Aggregate the Team Program Increment objectives into Program Objectives and publish them for visibility and transparency
* Serve as a servant leader and coach for the Agile Release Train (ART).
* Collaborate with Product Management, the System Architect, and Business Owners to achieve effective outcomes on the ART.
* Aid in the broader Lean-Agile transformation by coaching leaders and teams across the organization.
* You will help drive resolution for technical issues through problem-solving and coordination across impacted teams.
* You will have the opportunity to improve our approaches through sharing lessons learned with the team and department.
* Assist with the economic decision-making by facilitating capability estimation by teams
* Create retrospective improvement roadmaps by analyzing all activities and actions that have previously been performed and finding ways to improve each process.
* Measure and track program performance execution and Capability completion tracking
* Escalate and track program impediments
* Facilitate dependency resolution and help manage early risk identification and remediation
* Report status to Program management and release management
* Help structure program teams for effective program execution which may include providing input on resourcing to address critical bottlenecks
* Attend system demonstrations
* You will help create a collaborative team culture that drives predictable program performance to consistently meet business and customer commitments.

* You will have direct interaction with many of our customer-facing programs, getting an insight into the business we enable and the larger strategic initiatives we have.

* Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
* Experience leading a team through the full product development lifecycle - coordinating multiple disciplines coming together to create a full product.
* Previous experience with Agile leadership, as well as planning and managing projects and/or people in the development of embedded products.
* Experience developing in the Agile framework.
* The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required .
* U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
* Familiarity with NSA requirements and working with the NSA on Type-1 certification.
* Preferred applicants will currently hold a Secret (or above) security clearance, or have held one within the past two years.
