Onsite – offices in Ft. Wayne, IN;
McKinney, TX;
Cedar Rapids, IA; or El Segundo, CA.
- Deploy and test software builds to real system hardware (embedded Linux).
- Integrate hardware and software elements, troubleshoot network and system configuration (IP‑stack protocols, serial, RF, GPS, Linux, routers, switches).
- Perform systems integration and debugging (bash, Python scripting, oscilloscopes, volt meters).
- Manage integration lab and network architecture.
- Provide on‑site integration support at customer and third‑party facilities.
- Travel up to 10% may be required.
- Degree in STEM and at least 2 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
- Experience with build tools/IDEs (CMake, make, Visual Studio, VS Code, etc.).
- Experience with workflow tools (JIRA, Git, Subversion, Docker, requirements management).
- Object‑oriented programming in C++ or Java.
- Familiarity with Dev Sec Ops tools and server management.
- Experience with containers, virtualization, simulation.
- HMI/GUI development.
- Knowledge of DoD open systems architecture and protocols (FACE, JCA, HOST, OMS, SOSA).
- Background in UAS Command and Control Systems, Autonomy Algorithms, Detect‑and‑Avoid, Guidance and Navigation, Flight Management Systems, Sensor Fusion, Weapons Systems, Human/Machine Interface, or Information Assurance.
