Role overview

The Sales Manager will lead a team of B2B and/or B2C Sales Account Executives, driving performance and ensuring the achievement of sales targets. The role fosters a positive, high-energy team culture while supervising, coaching, and motivating representatives to maximize results. Key responsibilities include overseeing sales campaigns, monitoring performance metrics, providing real-time feedback, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and conversion rates.

The Sales Manager will analyze sales data, develop action plans, and ensure operational excellence in alignment with company goals. Other duties may be assigned as needed to support business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Work with senior management and clients to help create a business plan as part of overall company and division sales growth strategies.
  • Recruit and lead a team of Mid-Market Account Executives and foster a culture of success through talent management, coaching, and training.
  • Develop plans and strategies for acquiring mid-market business and achieving client sales goals.
  • Create detailed, accurate, and predictable sales forecasts; monitor and report on quota attainment weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually.
  • Manage customer expectations and contribute to customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Partner with marketing, product, and delivery to build world-class customer programs and ensure coordination across Sales, Solutions, and Program Success.
  • Demonstrate experience in building and scaling sales processes.
  • Adapt quickly to changing sales needs; coach and mentor salespeople through deals.
  • Drive implementation of client plans across multiple products and platforms.
  • Manage day-to-day business including pipeline development, forecasting, sales cycle management, collaboration, teamwork, and best-practice sharing.
  • Achieve revenue goals through leadership of the team.
  • Develop marketing strategies, analyze trends, and integrate strategic efforts into overall operations.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports for management.
  • Exercise independent judgment in matters of significance; document staff performance and conduct annual reviews; participate in hiring and termination decisions.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.

Ideal Qualifications

  • Proven performance in a B2B/B2C sales environment with an excellent track record.
  • Strategic problem solving, project management, interpersonal, and team management skills.
  • At least 3 years of supervisory/management experience with hands-on leadership.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or communications preferred.
  • Proven ability to sell using solution-based and consultative sales skills with creative thinking.
  • Understanding and managing details of digital programs and explaining key elements.
  • Strong knowledge of digital products and applications.
  • Ability to think strategically, formulate action plans, and sell them through to management.
  • Ability to learn and communicate complex and intangible product concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage numerous projects on tight deadlines with limited direction.
  • High initiative and a keen sense of urgency.

Supervisory Duties

  • First/Mid-Level supervisors

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds, if necessary.

Compensation details: 60,000 yearly salary
