Collins Aerospace, an RTX company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry. We are searching for a Program Support Specialist Program Manager to join our Value Stream Services Department and work with the Blindside Program Management Team located in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role is onsite with ~10% travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and direct program activities, including technical, cost and schedule considerations, across Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, and IPPC.
  • Ensure all key stakeholders are involved in planning, informed, and accountable.
  • Direct, review, and approve functional group effort against cost, schedule, and technical requirements, replan as needed with Senior PM.
  • Own program onboarding process, including continuous updates and improvements.
  • Understand and meet customer contractual requirements.
  • Draft program materials (guides, manuals, presentations).
  • Conduct meetings with the customer for program reviews.
  • Manage internal financial goals (sales, gross margin, cash flow).
  • Hold cross‑functional team accountable, including recovery plans.
  • Support internal reviews and gate reviews using RLPM methodology.
  • Assist with risks, opportunities, cadences, and tracking.
  • Collaborate with Program Support Specialists, Senior Program Managers, and functional leads to ensure priority alignment.
  • Handle pursuit and proposal activities.
  • Manage portions of complex development and production programs and proposals under guidance of a Senior PM.
  • Set up IWAs, staffing, metrics, secure network accounts, and travel logs.
  • Assist with IRAD budgets and reviews.
  • Leverage industry practices and standards.
  • Plan schedules and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • University degree with at least 8 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with at least 5 years experience.
  • Active, transferable U.S. government‑issued Secret Security Clearance prior to start date; U.S. citizenship required.
  • Project delivery and risk management/mitigation experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
  • Prior external customer support/interface experience.
  • Production management experience.
