Role

Summary:

The Information Systems Security Manager is responsible for compliance oversight, assessment, and operations of systems under their purview within the Collins Aerospace Mission Systems team.

Responsibilities
  • Accountability for all systems under their assigned purview.
  • Maintain working knowledge of CIS functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures.
  • Interact with DCSA SCA/ISSP to track items such as upcoming authorizations (ATO), new technology solutions, policy interpretations, and onsite A&A.
  • Develop, maintain, and update site POAMs to identify system weaknesses, mitigating actions, resources, and timelines.
  • Coordinate DCSA SVA preparation activities for assigned CAGE in conjunction with Site ISSM.
  • Direct interaction with Information System Owners.
  • Perform assessment and authorization activities (documentation preparation, system configuration/validation, certification testing, etc.).
  • Implement security sustainment activities: hardware & software change management, account management, media protection, user interface, file transfers.
  • Conduct self‑inspections and deliver information systems security education and awareness.
  • Participate in continuous monitoring/improvement program.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • University degree and minimum 8 years relevant experience or advanced degree and minimum 5 years.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Active transferable Secret/Top Secret clearance.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity compliance per DCSA DAAPM, DAAG, JSIG, or NISPOM regulations.
  • Direct leadership or project/program management experience.
  • IAM Level III certification (CISSP or equivalent).
  • Cybersecurity, systems security, hardening, and network security expertise.
  • Compliance‑based management using RMF.
  • Experience with databases, OS, network hardware, software, and troubleshooting.
  • Project/program management, office management, senior administration, or account management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Criminal Justice, Business or related.
  • Experience with vulnerability analysis tools (Splunk, Ivanti, Tenable, ACAS, HBSS, Nexpose, etc.).
  • Oversight of Assessment & Authorization processes per JSIG/DAAG.
  • Incident response and administrative investigations experience.
  • Continuous monitoring/improvement program execution.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of NISPOM, JSIG/RMF, ICD‑503 or equivalent technical auditing.
  • Professional engagement with customers and negotiation of controls/requirements.

Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD (estimated).
