Our Davenport location also houses a full-service truck repair facility with eight service bays.

Role Description

This is a full-time (On-site) Human Resources Manager role based in Cedar Rapids, IA, with hybrid work flexibility. The HR Manager will oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, performance management, training, and benefits administration. They will develop and implement HR policies, manage employee records, ensure compliance with labor laws, and foster a positive work environment. Additionally, the HR Manager will collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Onboarding
  • Strong knowledge of Human Resources policies, Labor Laws, and Compliance
  • Skills in Employee Relations, Conflict Resolution, and Performance Management
  • Experience in HR tools and systems and proficient in Documentation and Record Management
  • Strong Communication, Leadership, and Organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
  • Previous experience in a family-owned business or knowledge of the distribution or transportation industry is beneficial
