We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor/Therapist to provide psychosocial assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients from children onward.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify emotional, social, and environmental strengths and problems.
- Implement clinical social work treatments, including crisis intervention, individual, marital, or family therapy.
- Participate in staff conferences, collaborate with therapy teams, and develop therapy plans to benefit patients.
- Maintain detailed case records and document assessments, interventions, and interactions.
- Educate patients and families about adaptation to diagnoses and treatments.
- Liaise with community resources and provide consultative support to healthcare team members.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance with documentation standards.
- Some travel may be required.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Behavioral Science or related field; licensure as LMHC, tLMHC, LMSW, or LISW in Iowa.
